Dozens of personnel under South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency keeps providing optimal services during the Idulfitri holiday, especially at tourist spots.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Bernad Oktavianus Pasaribu said, personnel assigned during the holiday and public leave for Eid were shifted on the duty order.

"We have set their tasks, thus it doesn't burden them. So, some have time off before and after Eid," he expressed, Thursday (4/3).

He explained they were focused on monitoring and regulating several crowded locations, such as tourist sites, main routes, and shopping centers.

He cited, four to five personnel were placed in Tebet Eco Park and Setu Babakan, as well as 19 to 23 personnel were deployed in the Ragunan Zoo (TMR).

Then 19 to 30 personnel were also on standby at posts spread across 10 sub-districts.

"We also send personnel at several toll exits to assist with traffic management to prevent congestion and bottlenecks," he added.

He urged tourists to always comply with the rules and personnel instructions on the field, especially regarding vehicle parking.

"Do not park carelessly on the sidewalk or the roadside, as it can cause traffic jams and harm others," he closed.
